Each and every day, our community and healthcare systems rely on nurses. As Nurse's Week comes to an end, let's take a moment to share gratitude and appreciation; and continue to gift our hospital, clinic, long-term care, local health department, school, home care, travelling, and specialty RNs with expression of thanks and actions of gratitude all year around.

Sinks that are dirty, or contaminated, have the potential to splash and spray contaminated water to the surfaces and items that are near them. Always keep these areas clear of clean or sterile items and use splash guards if needed to prevent contamination from splash and spray. Find out more about this on our Ne ICAP Practice Brief on Splash Zones at:

NE ASAP appreciates the diverse lineup of Subject Matter Experts speaking at this years NE Antimicrobial Stewardship Summit on Friday, May 31st at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in LaVista, NE.
Nurses are a HUGE part of our annual Summit audience. Every year we aim for at least one presentation targeted at nurses and infection preventionists. It is a real thrill to host one of the premier nursing experts this year. We are not too shy to say we are Fan-Girling for this presentation! 🤩
Elizabeth Monsees, PhD, MBA, RN, CIC, FAPIC
Senior Director, Infection Prevention and Stewardship Integration; Teaching Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Children’s Mercy Kansas City, Kansas City, MO will present on "Nurses – The Central Stewards of Antibiotic Safety".
