NYC Health Department and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Veterinary Medicine IPC Council, collaborated to create an infection prevention and control resource for veterinary professionals. Use of recommendations outlined in this tool can reduce the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria to both people and pets.
