Description: Please join NACCHO’s Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Living Learning Network (LLN) December call that will feature unique skills to improve LHD’s abilities to train facility partner staff. Essential skills work has been a part of NACCHO’s Project Firstline work for over a year and has culminated in both virtual and in-person training events. This presentation will review what essential skills are, highlight some of the content from the webinar and first in-person training, and share opportunities to engage in future essential skills activities and where to find resources. Local health department staff interested in learning about skills to improve efficacy of IPC training with healthcare facility partners should attend.
